Open Call: Brains for Brains Young Researchers' Award

For the eighth time, the Bernstein Association for Computational Neuroscience is announcing the "Brains for Brains Young Researchers' Computational Neuroscience Award" (March 2017).

The call is open for students of all nationalities from relevant disciplines (biology, medicine, physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, psychology, ...) who plan to pursue a research career in Computational Neuroscience and who have at least one peer reviewed publication (as coauthor) or peer reviewed conference abstract (as first author) that was submitted before starting doctoral studies, is written in English and was accepted or published in 2016 or 2017.

The award is endowed with a travel grant of 2.000 € for a one-week trip to Germany, incl. participation in the Bernstein Conference 2017 and individually planned visits to up to two German research institutions in Computational Neuroscience.

The application for 2017 has closed. Currently all applications are being evaluated. We will inform all applicants about the outcome, shortly.
