Jonathan Michaels and Logan Grosenick receive Bernstein - Sloan Swartz travel grant

In 2008, the Bernstein Network and the US-American Sloan Swartz Centers for Theoretical Neuroscience launched an exchange program to allow their young scientists to attend the annual conference of the partner organization (May 2016).

This year Jonathan Michaels (PhD student at German Primate Center) has been awarded a travel grant which will enable him to participate in the Annual Swartz Meeting that will take place at California Institute of Technology from July 31 to August 3, 2016.

Logan Grosenick (Postdoc at Columbia University and Research Scientist at Stanford University) from the Sloan Swartz Centers received the travel grant to participate in the upcoming Bernstein Conference taking place in Berlin from September 20 - 23, 2016.

A travel grant is endowed with $ 1,000 to cover travel costs plus free accommodation and meals during the respective meeting. Since 2008, a total of almost 70 students and postdocs have been selected for the program.
